Marisa Monte
Born in Rio de Janeiro in 1967, trained in lyric singing and having spent ten months working on bel canto in Italy, she released MM in 1989. Verde, Anil, Amarelo, Cor-de-Rosa e Carvão passed a million copies. More than 15 million records sold and five Latin Grammys. With Arnaldo Antunes and Carlinhos Brown, she founded Tribalistas in 2002.
