José Ribamar Coelho Santos, born in 1966 in Arari, Maranhão, waited until 1997 and Por Onde Andará Stephen Fry? to release a first album. That same year, his appearance on Gal Costa's acoustic record made his name. Sharp prize for new artist in 1998, Latin Grammy for best Brazilian music album in 2021.
