Iggy Pop
Known as the godfather of punk, he led the Stooges from 1967 before a solo career marked by The Idiot and Lust for Life, both released in 1977 and produced with David Bowie. His only American top 40 remains Candy, in 1990. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010, he received a lifetime achievement Grammy in 2020.
