Lou Reed
Born in Brooklyn in 1942 and died in 2013, co-founder of the Velvet Underground with John Cale. Transformer, produced by David Bowie in 1972, contains Walk on the Wild Side and Perfect Day. Berlin and New York mark out a forty-year solo career. Inducted twice into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
