The Cure
Formed in Crawley in 1976, the band has never had a permanent member other than Robert Smith. More than thirty million records sold and induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019. Songs of a Lost World, released in November 2024 after sixteen years of silence, took them back to the top of the charts for the first time since 1992, and won them their first two Grammy Awards.
