Soundgarden
Chris Cornell, Kim Thayil and Hiro Yamamoto started the band in Seattle in 1984. Superunknown entered the Billboard 200 at number one in 1994 and was certified six times platinum in the United States. Black Hole Sun and Spoonman won them two Grammys in 1995. Split in 1997, return in 2010, definitive end after Chris Cornell's death in 2017.
