Mobb Deep
Havoc and Prodigy met in Queensbridge and formed the duo in 1990. The Infamous, released in 1995, set the starkness of New York rap for the decade and features in Rolling Stone's 500 greatest albums. Hell on Earth entered the Billboard at number six, Murda Muzik at number three and went platinum. Three million records sold. Prodigy died in 2017.
