KISS
Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss founded the band in New York in 1973. Make-up, costumes and pyrotechnics became their signature. Thirty gold records, a record for an American band, and fourteen platinum albums. Alive! in 1975 and Destroyer in 1976 remain their milestones. The four original members entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014.
