Alice Cooper
Vincent Furnier, born in Detroit in 1948, invented shock rock with his band: make-up, horror props, theatrical staging. I'm Eighteen and then School's Out made him famous, and Billion Dollar Babies went to number one in the United States and the United Kingdom in 1973. He legally took the name Alice Cooper in 1974. The band entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2011.
