Megadeth
Dave Mustaine founded Megadeth in Los Angeles in 1983, the year he was thrown out of Metallica. The band is among the American thrash big four with Metallica, Slayer and Anthrax. Rust in Peace in 1990, then Countdown to Extinction in 1992, double platinum, mark their peak. Twelve Grammy nominations, one of them won in 2017 for Dystopia.
