Motörhead
Lemmy Kilmister founded Motörhead in London in 1975 and remained its only permanent member. Ace of Spades climbed to number four in the United Kingdom in 1980, and the live album No Sleep 'til Hammersmith took the top spot the following year. A Grammy in 2005, more than 25 million albums sold. Lemmy died at the end of 2015; the band stopped the next day.
