Caetano Veloso's sister, born in Santo Amaro in 1946, she debuted on 13 February 1965 standing in for Nara Leão in the show Opinião, and made her name with Carcará. The first woman to pass a million records sold in Brazil, and the best-selling female singer of the 1970s, she totals more than 26 million albums sold.
