Hervé Vilard
Born in Paris in 1946, he broke through at nineteen with Capri, c'est fini, in 1965, which sold several million copies and was translated into a dozen languages. Reviens and Nous have remained standards. He has told the story of his childhood in state care in several autobiographical books.
