Eurythmics
Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart founded the British duo in 1980, coming out of the Tourists. Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This) reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1983; There Must Be an Angel remains their only British number one. Around 75 million records sold, a Grammy in 1987 for Missionary Man, and induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2022.
