Trio formed in Houston in 1969 by Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill and Frank Beard, unchanged for five decades, which earned them a Guinness world record in 2018. Eliminator, released in 1983, sold more than ten million copies and remains their only diamond record. Around 50 million records sold, and induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004.
