The Temptations
The first Motown group to win a Grammy, in 1969 for Cloud Nine. Four number ones on the Billboard Hot 100 and fourteen on the R&B chart. My Girl, released in late 1964, is still their signature sixty years on. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989, and ranked the greatest R&B artists of all time by Billboard in 2023.
