Formed in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1995. The band's second album, Iowa, reached number three on the Billboard 200 and opened them up to a wide audience. Before I Forget, from Vol. 3: The Subliminal Verses, won them their first Grammy Award in 2005 in the best metal performance category. Close to 30 million albums sold.
