Stone Sour
Founded in Des Moines in 1992, the band brings together Corey Taylor and Jim Root, both of whom passed through Slipknot. Come What(ever) May reached number four on the Billboard 200 in 2006, and House of Gold & Bones was released in two parts, in 2012 and 2013. Three Grammy nominations, 2.1 million albums sold in the United States. On hiatus since August 2020.
