Sex Pistols
Formed in London in 1975 around Johnny Rotten, Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Glen Matlock, replaced by Sid Vicious in early 1977. God Save the Queen reached number two during the Queen's jubilee, and the only album, Never Mind the Bollocks, went to number one in October 1977. Split by January 1978, they refused their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006.
