Rita Lee

Born in São Paulo in 1947, she was first the voice of Os Mutantes before a solo career that made her the best-selling Brazilian artist in history, with more than 55 million copies sold. Lança Perfume passed a million in 1980, Flagra two million in 1982. Twelve Prêmios da Música Brasileira, two Latin Grammys. She died in 2023.
