Founded in Berlin in 1994, the six-piece has never changed line-up and sings in German. Sehnsucht entered the German sales chart at number one in 1997. The self-titled 2019 album went to number one in fourteen countries. Regarded as the best-selling German-language band, they are also known for their heavily pyrotechnic concerts.
