Magic System
Formed in Abidjan in 1996, the Ivorian quartet led by A'salfo took zouglou beyond Côte d'Ivoire. Premier Gaou made their name in France in 2002, Même pas fatigué reached number one in 2009, and Magic in the Air went diamond before becoming the French anthem of the 2018 World Cup. Sacem gave them its Grand Prix for world music in 2015.
