Matthieu Chedid, born in 1971 in Boulogne-Billancourt, is the son of Louis Chedid and the grandson of the writer Andrée Chedid. Behind the M persona, he released Le Baptême in 1997, then Je dis aime, which sold more than 500,000 copies. Lettre infinie went to number one in 2019 and was certified platinum.
