The quartet formed in Paris in 1994, around Gaëtan Roussel and Arnaud Samuel's violin. Their first album, released in 1997, sold close to 2.8 million copies: the best-selling rock record in French history. Comme on a dit followed in 2000, at 700,000 copies. Four Victoires de la musique in all.
