Kool & The Gang

Founded in 1964 in Jersey City by brothers Robert and Ronald Bell, the band has sold more than 70 million albums. Celebration, in 1980, remains its only number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Emergency, released in 1984, sold more than two million copies in the United States. Two Grammy Awards, and induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2024.
