Jorge Aragão
Born in Rio de Janeiro in 1949, he started out on guitar in the dance halls and cabarets of the 1970s and is among the founders of Fundo de Quintal, before a solo career launched in 1981. His compositions Vou Festejar, Claridade and Coisinha do Pai were covered by Beth Carvalho and Zeca Pagodinho. An unreleased version of Coisinha do Pai woke the Mars Pathfinder rover in 1997.
