INXS
Founded in Sydney in 1977 around Michael Hutchence and the three Farriss brothers, the Australian band has sold more than 50 million records. Kick, in 1987, reached number three on the Billboard 200 and produced Need You Tonight, their only American number one. Six ARIA Awards and induction into the Australian hall of fame in 2001. Hutchence died in 1997.
