Dave Grohl founded the band in 1994 in Seattle, alone in the studio, after the end of Nirvana. More than 30 million records sold since, and 15 Grammy Awards from 34 nominations. The band holds the record in the best rock album category with five wins, from There Is Nothing Left to Lose in 2001 to Medicine at Midnight in 2022.
