The project of Mark Oliver Everett, born in Virginia in 1963, active since 1996. Beautiful Freak contains Novocaine for the Soul, and Electro-Shock Blues, written after the deaths of his sister and his mother, remains his most acclaimed record. His father was the physicist Hugh Everett, author of the many-worlds theory.
