Eddy Mitchell
Claude Moine, born in Paris in 1942, led Les Chaussettes Noires before going solo in 1963. He recorded in Nashville and London with American session players, which gave his records a colour unmatched in France. Couleur menthe à l'eau and Il ne rentre pas ce soir are standards, and his Dernière Séance ran for twenty years on television.
