Danny Elfman
Born in 1953, he first led the band Oingo Boingo before composing for Tim Burton from Pee-Wee's Big Adventure onwards, a partnership carried across some fifteen films including Batman, Edward Scissorhands and The Nightmare Before Christmas. He wrote the theme for The Simpsons. Four Oscar nominations and one Grammy.
