Buddy Guy
Born in Louisiana in 1936, a Chicago blues guitarist, eight Grammys. His playing directly inspired Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan, all three of whom named him as a model. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005, honoured at the Kennedy Center Honors in 2012.
