Vybz Kartel
Adidja Palmer, born in Kingston in 1976, recorded his first song in 1993. Jamaican dancehall owes him Romping Shop with Spice, which entered the Billboard Hot 100 in 2009, and Clarks, which stayed forty weeks in radio rotation in North America. Fever was certified gold in the United States and the United Kingdom. Drake names him among his major influences.
