The Dutchman Tijs Verwest was voted best DJ in the world by DJ Mag three years running, from 2002 to 2004. In 2004 he played for ninety minutes at the opening ceremony of the Athens Olympics, the first DJ to perform live on an Olympic stage. His remix of John Legend's All of Me won him a Grammy Award in 2015.
