The Cinematic Orchestra

British nu jazz and downtempo band founded in 1999 by Jason Swinscoe, then an employee of the Ninja Tune label. The name points to a writing close to film music. Often instrumental, they invite Fontella Bass, Roots Manuva and Patrick Watson.
