Selah Sue
Sanne Putseys, born in Leefdaal, Belgium, in 1989, turned down a contract at 17 to keep writing her own songs. Her first album, released in 2011, sold more than 720,000 copies in Europe, 320,000 of them in France, and went to the top of the Belgian chart. Reason followed in 2015 and Persona in 2022.
