Marie Fredriksson and Per Gessle started the duo in Halmstad in 1986 and sent four songs to the top of the Billboard Hot 100: The Look, Listen to Your Heart, It Must Have Been Love and Joyride. The album Joyride sold eleven million copies, and the catalogue as a whole close to eighty million. Fredriksson died in 2019, at 61.
