Housni Mkouboi, born in 1977 in Antananarivo, co-founded the collective Mafia K'1 Fry before releasing Le Code de l'honneur in 1999. La Vie avant la mort, two years later, sold more than 800,000 copies, carried by Qui est l'exemple ?, which spent three weeks atop the Top 50. Eleven albums, more than two million sales.
