Ricardo Montaner
Born in Avellaneda in 1957 and a naturalised Venezuelan, he started out in 1973 as the drummer of a rock band in Maracaibo before moving to singing. Tan enamorados, La cima del cielo and Bésame made him a benchmark of the Latin ballad, with more than twenty-five million records sold. Latin Grammy award of excellence in 2016.
