Paul Anka
Canadian-born American singer-songwriter, born in 1941 in Ottawa. He wrote the English lyrics to My Way, an adaptation of Comme d'habitude by Jacques Revaux and Claude François, which he recorded in 1969 before Frank Sinatra made it a standard the same year.
