Nitty Gritty Dirt Band
American band founded in 1966 in Long Beach, California, by Jeff Hanna and Jimmie Fadden. First hit in 1967 with Buy for Me the Rain. Its original line-up included Jackson Browne, who left very early and was replaced by John McEuen, who stayed for many years.
