Born in Texas in 1995, she launched her career in Houston in 2016. In 2020, Savage remixed with Beyoncé and then WAP with Cardi B reached number one on the Hot 100, and Good News placed second. Best new artist at the 2021 Grammy Awards, the second female rapper to take that prize after Lauryn Hill. Hiss gave her a solo number one in 2024.
