João Gomes
Born in 2002 in Serrita, Pernambuco, he carries piseiro, the electronic offshoot of forró. His first album, Eu Tenho a Senha, was the most streamed in Brazil in 2021. Nominated two years running for the Latin Grammy in the best Portuguese-language roots album category, he won it in 2025 with Dominguinho.
