Jeanne Galice, born in Toulouse in 1992, lived in Dubai, in Pointe-Noire and in Abu Dhabi before writing Zanaka. The album was released in 2015 and earned her the Victoire for breakthrough album in 2016, carried by Makeba and Come. Souldier followed in 2018. She composes and produces alone, on a laptop.
