Jack Johnson
A Hawaiian surfer born in 1975 on the north shore of Oahu, the youngest Pipeline Masters finalist at seventeen, he made surf films before releasing Brushfire Fairytales in 2001. Four of his albums have reached number one on the Billboard 200, including Sleep Through the Static and To the Sea. Better Together and Upside Down remain his most covered songs.
