IAM
Formed in Marseille in 1988 around Akhenaton, Shurik'n, Kheops, Imhotep and Kephren, IAM is one of the founding groups of French rap. Je danse le mia took them to a wide audience in 1994, and L'École du micro d'argent, in 1997, passed 1.5 million copies before being certified diamond. Group of the year at the Victoires de la musique in 1995.
