Gregory Isaacs
Known as the Cool Ruler, the Jamaican born in Kingston in 1950 was among the most recognisable voices in reggae. My Only Lover is often held to be the first lovers rock record. Night Nurse, in 1982, made his name beyond the island. Four Grammy Award nominations. He died near London in 2010.
