Formed in Sheffield in 2004 by teenagers, Oli Sykes's band started in deathcore before turning to metalcore with Suicide Season in 2008, then to alternative rock with That's the Spirit in 2015. Amo gave them their first British number one in 2019. Brit Award for best rock artist in 2024.
